Description
1.

Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to penetrate new markets, expand customer base, and achieve sales targets for switchgear products.


  • Identify and prioritize target industries, customers, and geographic regions for switchgear product sales, based on market research and analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including electrical contractors, engineering firms, utilities, and end-users, to understand their needs and promote our switchgear solutions.
  • Lead the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, including participating in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to generate leads and establish partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and engineering, to ensure alignment of business development initiatives with company objectives and customer requirements.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the switchgear market, and recommend strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, sales forecasts, and progress reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of sale with customers, ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations, standards, and technological advancements related to switchgear products, and incorporate relevant insights into business development strategies.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to sales teams, distributors, and channel partners to enhance their understanding of switchgear products and sales techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development or sales roles within the electrical industry, with a focus on switchgear products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key decisionmakers.
  • Strategic thinker with a resultsoriented mindset, capable of developing and executing effective business plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software; experience with market analysis tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit project sites.

₹25, ₹50,000.00 per month
