Responsibilities:


  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive spoken English lessons that focus on developing speaking and listening skills.
  • Create lesson plans and instructional materials that are aligned with curriculum objectives and student needs.
  • Incorporate a variety of teaching techniques, such as roleplaying, discussions, and multimedia resources, to facilitate language acquisition.
  • Provide individualized feedback and support to students to improve their pronunciation, fluency, and confidence in speaking English.
  • Organize and facilitate speaking activities, debates, and presentations to encourage active participation and communication skills development.
  • Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, such as oral exams, presentations, and speaking tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and performance.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with other English language teachers and colleagues to share best practices and resources.
  • Stay informed about developments in language teaching methodologies, technologies, and resources.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in English language, education, linguistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Native or nearnative proficiency in English language.
  • Previous experience teaching spoken English to nonnative speakers preferred.
  • Strong understanding of language acquisition theories and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse students and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in technologyenhanced teaching tools and resources.
  • Certification in teaching English as a second language (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) preferred.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
  • Legal authorization to work as a teacher in the relevant jurisdiction.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary and benefits package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
