Job Requirements

This position is for A&NZ, for pricing and model building.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

Manage a team of two to four people.
Communicate with different stakeholders (claims, UWs, business and Actuarial) and stremline the work for A&H A&NZ team.
Assist Actuary in account pricing, portfolio review, reserve review and monitoring reports.
Develop new monitoring tools, enhance the current processes.

Suggest and advice Actuary on better claims and UWs
5+ years relevant actuarial work experience in insurance industry, preferably P&C.

Work Experience

Undergraduate degree in any analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, etc
Strong data analytics capabilities, attention to detail and problem solving ability
Pursuit of actuarial exams to qualify as an actuary (ideally papers)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills, ability to manage competing projects, meet deadlines
Prior exposure or experience in some of the following tools/software shall be advantageous -MS Access, VBA, SAS, SQL, R, Python, Qlik, EMBLEM, RADAR
