The Accounts Administrator performs a variety of general accounting and admin support tasks including but not limited to:- Maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).
- Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
- Reconcile records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.
- Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a database, ensuring that records are complete and current and filing forms.
- Preparing cheques, deposits, budgets and financial reports.
- Maintain Ledgers, Journals and other financial transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Abiding by all company procedures and accounting & admin principles.
- Responding appropriately to vendor, client, and internal requests.
- Ensuring Accounting Department office administration runs smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- MBA-Finance/Commerce Graduates with Competency in Microsoft Office & Tally software.
- Age should be not more than 35 years.
- Fluent in English is a must.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask is an asset.
- Able to execute the secretarial function.
- Efficient Accounting Clerk with an eye for detail and high level of accuracy. Accounting Clerks can expect to handle communications with vendors, clients, and internal departments, assist with inventory, database, and record maintenance, prepare financial reports, issue cheques and making deposits, and generally ensure that the office operations are running smoothly.
- You should be professional and courteous with strong computer skills and a thorough understanding of accounting and financial principles along with Administration.
