You will be part of the Data & Analytics team at Near which is responsible for conceptualizing and delivering data-driven insights and reports for Near's partners and customers.

You will be involved in creating and presenting research reports that are relevant to the clients and their industries and are strategic in positioning the Near brand.

This role will involve understanding the data that Near has, analyzing the data, and telling a story relevant to an industry or brand.

A Day in the Life

Work closely with the product, engineering, and data science teams to understand Near's data assets.
Understand sales team/ stakeholders' requirements and work to conceptualize research reports that are strategic for Near's positioning.
Work with the Content and Marketing team to come up with ideas to leverage the rich data Near has.
Come up with ways to standardize and automate the reports.
Analyze large and diverse sets of data to gather datadriven insights and tell a compelling story.

What You Bring to the Role

Bachelor's degree/Graduate in any stream.
1 3 years of experience as a Research Associate or in a similar role.
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problemsolving skills and expertise in Excel & PowerPoint.
Ability to come up with creative ways of representing data using charts, graphs, and presentations for research reports.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, from sales and marketing teams to analytics and product teams.
Good presentation skills, mathematics, and basic statistics skills to understand and generate meaningful insights from data.
Ability to recognize patterns to find useful information in the data that is sometimes unstructured.
Research, factchecking, and validation skills using secondary data to ensure the validity of trends and conclusions drawn.
Good communication skills to present findings derived from the data.
Ability to focus and organize and stick to timelines while working on multiple tasks and projects.
Eagerness to learn and be independent as much as possible. For example, get the information you need from ChatGPT to collate insights, solve problems, and overcome challenges.
Data visualization experience in Tableau/ Power BI will be a plus.
SQL and Python experience will be a plus.
Ability to distill large amounts of information into specific takeaways.
