We're seeking experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineers to join the leadership team of our EY-Consulting-DET (Digital & Emerging Technologies) Team.

The Digital & Emerging Technologies (DET) practice works with clients to analyse, formulate, design, mobilize and drive digital transformation initiatives.

We advise clients on their most pressing digital challenges and opportunities surround business strategy, customer, growth, profit optimization, innovation, technology strategy, and digital transformation.

We also have a unique ability to help our clients translate strategy into actionable technical design, and transformation planning/mobilization.

Your key responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform aligned with business requirements.
Migrate workloads from onpremises environments or other public clouds to Google Cloud Platform, ensuring seamless integration and mínimal downtime.
Develop automation scripts and tools using Terraform or other InfrastructureasCode tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and management of cloud resources.

- implement robust backup solutions to safeguard critical data and ensure data integrity in the event of data loss or corruption, utilizing GCP-native backup services or third-party backup solutions where applicable.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on GCP.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices in GCP infrastructure management.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and GCP services, continuously evaluating and implementing new solutions to optimize our cloud environment.
Collaborate with clientfacing teams and management to develop estimates, Point of Views (POVs), Position Papers, and contribute to pursuits, proposals, and Statement of Work (SOW).
Participating in the organizationwide people initiatives
Excellent skill in written and oral communication skills; writing, publishing, and conference level presentation skills a plus.
