JOB PURPOSE:

To develop & establish HSE Management system and advice in implementation of Management system, ensuring compliances to statutory to complete the Projects Safely & in time.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Accountabilities

Key Performance Indicators
Develop & establish Occupational Health & Safety Management System.

Preparation & establish Project HSE Plan & other documents based on Company HSE requirement and Conditions of Contract on Safety, Health and Environment and Safety, Health and Environment Manual of DFCCIL.

and implement EHSQ Policy, Manual, Procedures and guideline

OHSAS 18001

OHSAS 18001 certification

Assist in Audits, trainings and Project sites for implementation of OH&S Management system

OHSAS 18001 certificate

Assist to maintain Lost work day case frequency rate

Provide technical support, guidance to the projects and prepare Emergency prepedness & response plans

Frequency rate

Training coverage rate

Facilitate and conduct HSE awareness Trainings through Internal /External faculties

Training coverage rate

Monitor the Statutory requirements ( Legal Register)

Statutory requirements

MIS management

Monthly preparation & presentation of relevant MIS report to the management. This would involve compiling and analysis of data (for instance Incident frequency rate, training coverage, Inspections, etc.) capturing reasons for deviations & action points

Timely MIS report

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS:

Accreditation bodies ( Auditors) Internal / External Auditors ensuring all compliances are adhered to
Legal compliance agencies

Statutory Authorities:
Labour office/ Factory Inspectorate, other government bodies, consultants

Subcontractor/ Vendors
Consultants & Trainers for training purposes

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS:

CPM, PM
HSE Team
All HODs and teams
Project Managers and teams
Project HSE Interact with Project HSE team to ensure implementation and adherence to the defined HSE systems and processes
Interact with employees on a regular basis to understand HSE compliance, be respondent to them on all their issues

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS:

Annual HSE Budget for Corporate and Project sites and for bidding/ tendering purpose

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

Engineering degree / Diploma with specialization in Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety Management ( AICTE Approved)
Optional NEBOSH and IOSH Managing Safely
