Role:
Assistant Manager - Logistics (Last Mile)

Location:
Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure 100% on time vehicle placement for First mile & last mile logistic with track
day to day operation.

  • Collaborating with dispatchers and route planners to ensure that delivery routes are
optimized for efficiency.

  • Managing delivery personnel, including drivers and loaders, to ensure that they are
meeting delivery timelines and customer service expectations.

  • Overseeing the maintenance and repair of delivery vehicles and ensuring that they
are compliant with safety regulations.

  • Developing and implementing strategies for reducing delivery times and improving
customer satisfaction.

  • Monitoring delivery performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Analysing delivery data to identify trends and patterns and developing strategies to
address any issues.

  • Managing relationships with thirdparty delivery providers, such as
Transporter/vendor and freight companies.

  • Ability to negotiate the cost from the vendor/transporter.
  • Onboard large vendor base, who can provide Adhoc as well Fix vehicle.
  • The person should be responsible for daily MIS report.

  • 58 yrs of relevant experience in Last Mile Logistic Operation.
  • Descent communication & strong negotiation skills
  • High level of ownership & commitment to maintain data confidentiality
  • Gogetter attitude & willingness to get proactively involved for seamless execution
  • Disciplined approach & ability to resolve issues realtime
  • Effective reporting & database management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

Salary:
₹500, ₹750,000.00 per year
