    Description

    Overview

    The SecurityEngineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the security andintegrity of the organizations systems and data. They areresponsible for designing implementing and maintaining securitymeasures to protect the organization against cyber threats andunauthorized access.

    KeyResponsibilities

    • Conduct regularsecurity assessments and risk analysis to identify potentialvulnerabilities.
    • Develop and implement securitypolicies protocols and procedures.
    • Monitornetwork and systems for security breaches orintrusions.
    • Perform penetration testing toidentify and address securityweaknesses.
    • Configure and manage firewallsintrusion detection systems and other securitytools.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsto ensure security best practices arefollowed.
    • Respond to security incidents andconduct thorough investigations.
    • Stay updatedon latest security threats technologies and bestpractices.
    • Conduct security audits andcompliance assessments.
    • Implement and managesecurity solutions such as encryption and multifactorauthentication.
    • Provide technical support andguidance to IT and other teams on securityrelatedmatters.
    • Conduct vulnerability assessments andmanage remediation efforts.
    • Participate in thedevelopment and review of security policies andprocedures.
    • Contribute to the development andimplementation of disaster recovery and business continuityplans.
    • Proactively identify and addresssecurity concerns related to new projects andinitiatives.

    RequiredQualifications

    • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or a relatedfield.
    • Professional certifications such asCISSP CISM or CEH.
    • Proven experience in asecurity engineering or related role.
    • Deepunderstanding of security protocols andcryptography.
    • Experience with security toolssuch as SIEM IDS/IPS and DLP.
    • Strong knowledgeof network security and webtechnologies.
    • Experience with security incidentresponse and forensicinvestigation.
    • Proficiency in risk assessmentand management.
    • Excellent understanding ofsecurity best practices and standards.
    • Strongproblemsolving and analytical skills.
    • Abilityto communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnicalstakeholders.
    • Experience in cloud security andDevSecOps practices.
    • Must know NIST StandardsHIPAA PCI DSS ISO
    • Effective timemanagement and organizational skills.
    • Abilityto work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamicenvironment.
