Oracle Apps DBA

Responsibilities

Installation, configuration and deployment of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1 and R12.2 versions.
Work with developers and users to migrate objects and code between non production databases.
Good working experience & understanding of WebLogic Applications R1
Knowledge on Concurrent Manager administration and tuning
Good experience of ONLINE patching in Oracle EBS
Responsible for cloning nonproduction EBS instances.
Troubleshoot and help resolve Oracle Workflow issues.
Effective troubleshooting of EBS and database performance issues.
Design and build databases, schemas, stored procedures, and other database objects.
Set up routine database backup procedures and disaster recovery procedures.
Perform database backup & recoveries using RMAN
Exposure of cloud Migration
Expertise in AWS cloud Services,Cloud Formation, RDS Databases,, AWS DMS & SCT, Cloud Watch, CloudTrail, DBaaS/SaaS/IaaS
Good understanding of Exadata Architecture
OCI tool
DB creation termination in OCI console, dbasscli utility to patch, move Exacc instance
Assist developers and endusers with database usage, query development, and tuning.
Develop operating system scripts to automate backups, data transfers, monitoring, etc.
Design and implement database security schemas.
Provides direction to less senior DBA's. Assists associate and intermediate DBAs with complex database tasks.
Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of database administration.
Have a good working experience in Oracle Core DBA Architecture, Backups/Recovery and Performance tuning exercise
Experience in Coordinating and working with Clients to understand the business requirement and design the architecture, accordingly, resolve issues if any.
Rich experience performing RDBMS software installation, database creation, database sizing, establishment of backup and recovery procedures and scripts, database performance tuning.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

Must have extensive knowledge ORACLE EBS R12 (R12.1/2)
Must have a good understanding of Oracle Database 11g/12C.
OCI

Migration Experience:
OCI tool

DB creation termination in OCI console, dbasscli utility to patch, move Exacc instance
Good understanding and experience in administering Oracle databases in a UNIX or LINUX environment.
UNIX/LINUX scripting knowledge is important.
Thorough knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL will be addon
Knowledge of logical, physical, and datawarehouse modelling is desired.
