Capgemini is currently seeking a talented and experienced Automation Tester on APPIUM
(5+ years of experience) to join our dynamic team to support the needs of a Top Ten US Insurance Carrier.

Agile Dev Team Members have collective responsibility for the design, development, testing, and/or deployment of system functionality.


Agile Dev Team Member with primarily a development discipline provides technical feasibility using basic coding methods and adheres to coding standards to ensure consistent style and format.

Ensures systems are high in code and component quality and are easily modified to support future requirements with the support and guidance of more senior developers or architects.


Agile Dev Team Member with primarily a testing discipline ensures the end product meets the business acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements.

Defines and executes tests early, often, and at multiple levels depending on their level of experience.

Based on their business products, processes, and system knowledge, they provide a broad level of thinking for exceptions and other unexpected ways users may interact with systems.

They utilize basic to intermediate testing techniques and tools.

The Agile Dev Team Member II is moderately capable of working on more than one type of task and is somewhat limited in their ability to consistently pull the next highest priority work item.

ey Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in Espresso testing framework and experience with UI Automator is a plus.
  • Handson experience with Android Studio, ADB, and other Android development tools.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to delivering highquality software products.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using Espresso framework.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to identify and resolve issues.
  • Document and track defects, and work with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile testing.
  • Participate in the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis and release management.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience on APPIUM
  • Knowledge of test management tools and defect tracking systems (experienced in using Jenkins for Test executions and expertise in analyzing failures with mínimal guidance or support)
  • Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment, be selfmotivated, eager to solve problems, have troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of the US Property Casualty Insurance Business is a plus
