Executive / Sr. Executive - Legal Affairs

Vacancy : 1 (One)

Location :
Vashi, Navi Mumbai.

Reporting to :
Directors

Qualification :
Graduate + CS + LLB

Experience :5 to 6 years

Salary :
As per industry standards.

Drafting OPPOSITIONS, CANCELLATION, INFRINGEMENT, PASSING OFF and Appeal Cases before the TRADEMARK OFFICE, IPAB etc.
Conducting Hearings in OPPOSITIONS and Appeal Cases before the TRADEMARK OFFICE, IPAB etc.
Conducts Research on COPYRIGHT issues and DESIGNS.
Manages, protects and enforces Intellectual Property Rights (including Trademarks and Copyright issues).
Monitors and supervise existing and proposed Trademarks.
Checks and evaluates all the procedural details of Trademarks Registration.
Advising and Negotiating LICENSE(S), ASSIGNMENT, REGISTERED USER AGREEMENTS, BUSI NESS CONTRACTS WITH INTERNATIONAL BUYERS, BUSINESS DISCUSSIOS
Filing and Prosecuting NATIONAL and INTERNATIONAL (Madrid System) Trademark Applications
Initiating business discussions with potential clients handed over by Marketing Head as per predecided company business policy.
Work on other HR & Admin related legal matters, contracts, policies & guidelines of the company.
Excellent understanding of common law system of TRADEMARK LAWS (Indian Trademark Laws and working understanding of Laws in Other Countries).
Excellent and Accurate drafting skills for Trademark Proceedings.
Excellent Written and Oral communication (in English) with particular ability in creative and persuasive writing and making attractive reports.
Experienced as a company secretary for previous firms.
Selfmotivated responsible attitude with ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Welldeveloped interpersonal skills and team work.
Excellent knowledge of MS-Office and Internet.
