Job Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities by prospecting and cold calling potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, including shippers, consignees, freight forwarders, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Present and promote our services to clients, including our online software and explaining the value proposition and differentiating features of our NVOCC solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate rates and terms of agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments and timely delivery of services to clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and expand business connections.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and achievements to the sales manager.

Requirements:


  • 70% and above scores in 10th and 12th academic years.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated with a strong drive for achieving sales targets and delivering results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Willingness to travel within Mumbai and occasionally outside the city for client meetings and industry events.
  • Fluency in English and local language(s) is required.
