We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Medical Coding Specialist to join our dynamic team.

This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience in medical coding, who are eager to learn and contribute to our mission of maintaining high-quality coding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and review medical documents, including patient records, to accurately assign appropriate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services rendered.
• Collaborate with experienced coding professionals to ensure coding accuracy and compliance with established coding guidelines and regulations (ICD10, CPT, HCPCS Level II, etc.).
• Learn and stay updated with industryspecific coding changes and updates to ensure accurate and uptodate coding practices.
• Communicate and clarify any discrepancies or missing information with medical staff to ensure accurate coding and billing processes.
• Assist in the resolution of codingrelated inquiries or issues as part of the coding team.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical coding practices to safeguard patient information and privacy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Allied Health Science or Any Graduation(3yrs+) (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic medical coding principles.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to accurately review medical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with medical staff and coding team members.
• Ability to adapt to changing coding guidelines and regulations.
