    Job Description :

    Responsibilities :

    • Develop the design and implementation of visually stunning and user-friendly OTT frontend interfaces for Smart TV applications on platforms such as LG, Samsung, Hisense, Netrange, Whale OS, and Sony.
    • Ensure seamless integration with backend services and third-party APIs.
    • Demonstrate expertise in Smart TV front-end development on platforms like LG WebOS, Samsung Tizen, Hisense VIDAA, Netrange, Whale OS, and Sony Linux TV.
    • Optimize user interfaces for different screen sizes and resolutions.
    • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate design specifications into functional and engaging Smart TV interfaces.
    • Provide input on design feasibility and recommend improvements for optimal user experience.
    • Identify and implement strategies for optimizing frontend performance, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
    • Conduct thorough testing to ensure consistent performance across various Smart TV models.
    • Ensure cross-platform compatibility by testing and debugging Smart TV applications on different devices and platforms.
    • Collaborate with the backend development team to address any integration challenges.
    • Uphold high coding standards and conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
    • Collaborate with the development team to implement best practices for front-end development.
    • Create and maintain documentation for front-end development processes, including coding standards, best practices, and guidelines.
    • Provide training and guidance to junior developers on front-end development techniques.
    Requirements :
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • At least 1 year of experience in Smart TV application development, with at least 5 years in React JS development.
    • Proficiency in the development of web technologies, using React JS and having excellent knowledge of HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript, and relevant frameworks/libraries.
    • Experience with frontend development on Smart TV platforms such as LG WebOS, Samsung Tizen, Hisense VIDAA, Netrange, Whale OS, and Sony Linux TV.
    • Fast learner with minimal instruction
    • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and design patterns.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex front-end issues.
    • Familiarity with version control systems (e. g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
    • Proven ability to lead and mentor a front-end development team.
    • Experience in Optimizing React Code for performance is a must for low-end devices.
    • Proficient in fixing cross-browser/platform compatibility issues is a must.
    • Experience of working in Media and Communication/broadcast business domain
    • Experience in Smart TV-based TV experience is a huge plus.
