About the Employer

Global Finance & Business Management ("GF&BM") India is a combined LOB-aligned (Line of Business-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan's global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm's Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm's capital.


GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main "pillars" of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products.

The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions.

The current opening is within The Instrumentation & Metrics Team in Bangalore which forms part of the CIB LOB within GF&BM India.

About the Team
The
Instrumentation and Metrics (I&M) team, which reports into the Office of the CFO and aligned to J.P.

Morgan Payments, is seeking a talented, ambitious, and creative individual to focus on designing and delivering new, internal business intelligence dashboards and similar data solutions for Payments business management, product and front-office teams.

I&M is committed to making accessible various firmwide and external data assets to deliver timely, relevant and automated insights that inform business decisions and strategy.


The
CIB Business Intelligence Product Associate role serves as a data product business owner to help define and execute against a book of work and mutually agreed upon roadmaps for various data and analytics dashboards supporting the Payments business.

These dashboards drive efficiency and increase capacity for users while ultimately helping grow and protect revenue through previously untapped insights that help inform business decisions and strategy.

**Job Responsibilities: - Serving as "product owner" to maintain and enhance multiple data solutions based on end-user feedback, working with Tableau and Qliksense dashboards, CRM tools and other data sources

  • Consulting with stakeholders to understand triggers that drive and inform the business and proposing data solutions in the form of wire frames and/or working prototypes
  • Develop and establish strong partnership to influence and support senior Payments stakeholders, serving as highly visible ambassador for the I&M "brand"
  • Taking a "product owner" approach to recommend short
- and mid-range strategy, ensuring data solutions are developed in the context of firm's broader data solutions ecosystem and strategy

  • Leading endtoend projects from planning through delivery, regularly engaging crossfunctional partners on everything from gaining data access to rolling out and training
  • Commercializing solution for endusers during beta phase with activities including training, job aid development, and troubleshooting & support
  • Providing support and driving utilization through training, troubleshooting, documentation and other "commercialization" activities

Qualifications:


Additional qualifications include:

  • Ability to design and maintain databases, including validating database stability and efficiency
  • One of the following
  • Hands on experience in software engineering roles with a moderate or deep knowledge in objected oriented programming
- or, Expertise in Alteryx, particularly on scheduling jobs and managing Alteryx Server

  • Hands on experience working in Tableau, Qliksense, and Alteryx
  • Ability to understand and work in the technical details to translate business requirements to a tangible working solution
  • Ability to frame general business problems into detailed analytical solutions and explain the "so what" (i.e. storytelling with data)
  • Exceptional organizational and followthrough skills as time is of the essence when delivering for our endusers
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Knowledge in modern data mining, research, and data science techniques preferred
  • Experience in Financial Services, Payments, or FinTech preferred
