We are in the hunt for a highly skilled and seasoned Senior Drools Developer to be part of our expanding team. You will have a key role in crafting, producing, rolling out, and upholding intricate business rules using the Drools BRMS. Your extensive Java background and successful track record with Drools will be vital for pushing innovation and ensuring the seamless operation of our rule-based systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable Drools rule sets for intricate business logic.
  
• Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient and effective Drools rules.
  
• Lead the integration of Drools with existing Java applications using advanced APIs and frameworks.
  
• Optimize Drools rule performance and ensure the system can handle increasing demands.
  
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests for Drools rules to ensure code quality.
  
• Stay current with the latest advancements in Drools and related technologies, including Java updates.
  
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers on Drools and Java best practices.
  
• Participate actively in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the development team.
  
• Troubleshoot complex Drools-related issues and pinpoint causes.
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development with a solid grasp of OOP concepts.
  
• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience working with Drools on real projects.
  
• In-depth understanding of business rule management systems (BRMS) and their use.
  
• Proficiency in rule languages like DRL (Drools Rules Language) and fluency in Java syntax.
  
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit/TestNG) and crafting top-notch test cases.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive stance towards challenges.
  
• Great communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
