Description
Responsibilities:
- Process the accounts payable for vendor payments, project expenses, through the internal accounting system and banking process
- Statutory deductions of TDS etc. while processing the accounts payable & reconciliation thereof
- Updating Invoice trackers
- Recording of recipes the books of accounts
- Book keeping for journal entries for expenses, recipes and payments in tally
- Ledger scrutiny and tracking of sundry creditors advances and balances
- Provide the MIS support and data for project teams' reconciliations, funds received, on utilisation of grants against sanctioned budgets
- Support in the verification of funds utilization reports for the donors
- Coordination for internal audit within the organization
- Support Statutory audit requirements
- Coordinate and ensure adherence to the internal finance policies and guidelines
Profile Requisites:
- Commerce Graduate in Finance / Accounts
- Minimum experience of 2 years in the field of Accounting / Finance
- Basic knowledge of TDS provisions
- Communications skills to be able to connect and coordinate within the teams
- Knowledge with Ms office particularly excel is mandatory
- Wellversed with Tally package
- Experience with the social sector would be an advantage
Remuneration:
Subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit; the salary range is INR LPA
