    Description

    Job Description:
    We are seeking a skilled Linux middleware programmer with extensive experience in working with On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) devices.

    As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining middleware software solutions for Linux-based platforms, with a focus on integrating and interfacing with OBD Design, develop, and maintain middleware software components for Linux-based systems.


    • Implement communication protocols and drivers to interface with OBD devices.
    • Collaborate with hardware engineers and other software developers to ensure seamless integration of OBD functionality into our products.
    • Perform troubleshooting and debugging of software and hardware issues related to OBD integration.
    • Optimize system performance and resource utilization for OBDrelated functionalities.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in OBD technology to continuously improve our Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Proficiency in Linux system programming and development, including experience with kernellevel programming.
    • Strong understanding of networking protocols and communication interfaces.
    • Experience working with OBD-II standards and protocols.
    • Familiarity with CAN bus communication and diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
    • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
    • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools.
    • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Previous experience in automotive or embedded systems development.
    • Familiarity with realtime operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux distributions.
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices for automotive systems.
    • Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
