• Assist the lead dance teacher in developing lesson plans and curriculum for contemporary dance classes.
• Demonstrate dance techniques, movements, and combinations to students, ensuring proper execution and form.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to enhance their technical abilities and artistic expression.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating dance rehearsals, performances, and other related events.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
• Conduct warmup exercises and stretching routines to prepare students for dance activities.
• Collaborate with the lead dance teacher to create choreography for performances and competitions.
• Stay updated with current trends and developments in contemporary dance and incorporate them into class instruction.
• Independently host workshops to share expertise in contemporary dance with the wider community.
• Plan and organize workshop content, including warmup exercises, technique drills, and choreography.
• Promote workshops through various channels, such as social media, flyers, and local dance networks.
• Effectively communicate and engage with workshop participants, providing clear instructions and demonstrations.
• Inspire and motivate workshop attendees to explore their creativity and embrace contemporary dance as an art form.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining attendance records and handling inquiries from students and parents.
• Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall operation and growth of the dance studio.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in contemporary dance, with proficiency in a variety of techniques and styles.
• Prior experience as a dance teacher or assistant, preferably in a professional dance studio or educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students of different age groups and skill levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead warmups, technique drills, and choreography sessions.
• Proven experience in hosting dance workshops and delivering engaging and informative instruction.
• Creative mindset and the ability to inspire and motivate students to express themselves through dance.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in planning and executing dance classes and workshops.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to providing quality dance instruction.
• Knowledge of dance terminology, anatomy, and injury prevention techniques.
