    Description

    Responsibilities

    • Engagement:
    • with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, product managers, and engineers, to understand business requirements and translate them into data science solutions that drive business value.
    • complex findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
    • Management:
    • end-to-end data science projects, from problem formulation to model deployment to monitoring.
    • project scope, timelines, and success criteria.
    • project resources and ensure timely delivery.
    • Understanding & Practical Application of algorithms:
    • existing models and explore new algorithms.
    • feature engineering and model selection.
    • up-to-date with the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
    • the theoretical foundations of various models (e.g., neural networks, decision trees, clustering algorithms and generative AI) and appropriately decide choice of implementation of different algorithms
    • Deployment and Scalability:
    • various models / algorithms using the Cloud (e.g., AWS, GCP, and Azure).
    • scalability, reliability, and performance of deployed models.
    • with DevOps teams for seamless integration of applications with algorithms
    • Visualization:
    • compelling visualizations using any one dashboarding tool like Tableau, Matplotlib, or
    • insights to stakeholders through interactive dashboards and reports.

    Qualifications

    • or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics or a related field.
    • 6 years of professional experience in data science or related roles.
    • programming skills in Python or R.
    • in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
    • with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
    • problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
    • communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Nice-to-Have Skills

    • with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
    • of natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning.
    • in data science or related fields.
