    Finance Manager JobDescriptionTitle:Finance ManagerReporting To:ManagingDirectorResponsiblefor: Planning reporting and weekly candidatepayroll
    Summaryof Role: In thisposition you will be responsible for managing staff who carry outthe weekly payroll of all temporary agency staff that we employ.Work with Payroll department and Directors to carry out forecastingaccount reconciliation and profit and loss reporting. You will alsooversee all accounting activities related to income auditingaccounts payable processing accounts receivable collection and taxcompliance. This is an excellent opportunity to be a key person ina fast growing and successful recruitment company and workalongside the managingdirector.
    KeyResponsibilities
    • Bookkeepingprocessing and functions
    • Balance sheet and bankreconciliations
    • Understand basic HMRC Payee NICand Pensions and taxation codes
    • Work withsenior teams to grow the business formulating strategies andplans.
    • Ensure corporate budgeting processes arecarried out and reviewed.
    • Take ultimateresponsibility for the company cash managementpolicies.
    • Ensure that the regulatoryrequirements of all statutory bodies aremet.
    • Establish a high level of credibility andmanage strong working relationships with customers andadvisors.
    • Sales ledger functions ability tochase debts
    • Credit control functions/purchaseledge functions
    • Update cash flow with actualdata and work with MD on forecasts
    • Liaise withconsultants with payroll queries
    • Externalpayroll for candidates experience with Xeropayroll
    • Work with MD to provide timelyfinancial information
    • Timely processing ofinvoices for VAT return
    • Contribute fully to thedevelopment of company strategy across financial analysis andguidance on all activities plans targets and businessdrivers.
    • Provide and maintain Database Module/Changes/ Updates for the financialdepartment.
    • Bank recs for other bankaccounts
    • Cashflow spreadsheet andforecast
    • Profit and Lossanalysis
    • Assist It with setting up internalPAYE console within DB
    • Working on PAYEcompliance
    • Manual journals in Xero foraccruals/prepayments
    • Monthly/Weekly targets forconsultants
    • Assist Accountant with any reportshe needs Intermediary for example
    • Updateumbrella costs/margins/etcspreadsheet

    PersonSpecification:
    • AAT partqualified/qualified or a recognised accounting or bookkeepingqualification preferred
    • Experience usingaccounting software Xero
    • Analytical with goodattention to detail
    • Meet the requirement for acommercially astute articulate technically strong dynamicinsightful and influential leader with the ability to operate atboth strategic and operationallevels.
    • Exceptional communication skills at alllevels
    • Ability to show initiative and goodjudgement functioning well underpressure.
    • Energetic highly motivated with anenquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuitof business growth and success.
    • Effective ICTskills with the ability to use the entire Microsoft Office suite ofproducts including Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint and Access at ahigh level.

    • The positionrequires the skills of a detail orientated wellorganisedselfmotivated person who can workindependently.
