    Description
    Purpose of the position


    Possessing good knowledge of switchgear product testing, project management & test automation, IS/IEC and international standards applicable for switching products, ISO standards applicable for LAB accreditation through NABL / BIS.

    test automation and test tool developments.
    To drive, prepare & perform critical components qualification.
    To have good relationship with external test Laboratories for product qualification and certification.

    To guaranty with tests that the qualified devices (electrical parts) will be comply with the SOCOMEC standard and international standard rules.

    Responsibilities
    Manage the Test LAB as per ISO 17025
    Manage Test plan, Test results and Lab equipment calibration records.
    Update LAB procedure time to time as per ISO 17025
    Conduct /organise LAB audit
    Understand the LAB Safety and Security procedure
    Manage NABL accreditation of LAB
    Ensure the quality of the test product- Check and approve the tests plans (TP) in collaboration with Benfeld laboratory.
    Test equipment management- Define the equipment specifications, Quote and get INV approval, Implementation, commission & Maintenance of equipment.

    Technical knowledge management- Manage Innovation topic, identify special and critical skills & identify suitable topics for knowledge sharing with TPL.

    Participate in the development of technical partnerships-Develop relationship with technical team to get technical support & info.


    What's required:
    Bachelor's or higher degree in BE Electricals, or a related field
    Electrical / Electronic Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in Switchgear industries
    Knowledge of test tool development (LAB VIEW, PLC)
