    Project Chhalaang a flagshipinitiative of ELMS Sports Foundation is on the lookout for a Headof Fundraising and Partnerships. Launched in 2022 our goal is toenable a million children to play by 2027 making the righttoplay areality for every child in India. This transformative programmerges sports with education aiming to foster holistic developmentinclusivity and a passion for learning among children. It seeks tobridge educational gaps promote health and build resilientcommunities all while challenging stereotypes through innovativeapproaches.

    Role:

    Asthe Head of Fundraising and Partnerships for Project Chhalaang youwill be at the forefront of driving our nonprofit organizationsmission of empowering underprivileged communities through sportsand education. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker whoexcels in creating and nurturing partnerships and who is adept atunlocking diverse funding channels to support ourinitiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Leadthe planning and execution of comprehensive fundraising andpartnership strategies aligned with Project Chhalaangsgoals.
    2. Identify cultivate and maintain strongrelationships with key partners including corporations foundationsgovernment agencies and other relevantorganizations.
    3. Develop and implement innovativefundraising initiatives exploring new revenue streams and enhancingexisting ones.
    4. Lead mentor and grow a team offundraising and partnership professionals fostering a culture ofexcellence and collaboration.
    5. Engage andsteward major donors ensuring their ongoing commitment and supportthrough effective communication and relationshipbuildingstrategies.
    6. Oversee the grant process fromidentifying opportunities to proposal submission and compliancewith grant requirements.
    7. Conceptualize andexecute highimpact fundraising events leveraging them to buildrelationships and increase funding
    8. Manage thefundraising budget ensuring optimal allocation of resources andtransparent reporting to stakeholders.
    9. Stayabreast of market trends in fundraising and partnerships adaptingstrategies to maximize opportunities and mitigaterisks.

      Act as a key spokesperson for ProjectChhalaang in various forums advocating for the organizationsmission and building itsprofile

    DesiredQualifications Experience andCompetencies:

    1. Education:Bachelors degree required preferably in Business MarketingNonProfit Management or a related field. Masters degree orprofessional fundraising certifications areadvantageous.
    2. Experience: Over 12 years innonprofit sector with 6 years in leadership roles and 6 yearsspecializing in fundraising.
    3. Demonstratedability in strategic planning particularly in fundraising andpartnership development.
    4. Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engageand inspire a wide range ofstakeholders.
    5. Strong leadership skills with atrack record of building and managing highperformingteams.
    6. Excellent networking abilities andexperience in building longterm productivepartnerships.
    7. Strong analytical abilities witha problemsolving mindset capable of understanding and responding tocomplex challenges.
    8. Excellent organizationaland project management skills capable of managing multiplepriorities effectively.
    9. Genuine passion for andcommitment to the mission and values of Project Chhalaang with anunderstanding of the transformative power of sports and educationin community development.
