What you will do

  • Read and transcribe medical documents and prescriptions
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of transcribed documents
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
  • Follow medical coding standards and guidelines
  • Perform live transcription as needed during medical procedures or consultations
  • Ensure timely completion of transcription assignments
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify information, if needed

What you will need

  • Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or similar role
  • Excellent typing skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and coding standards
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Certification in medical transcription is a plus
