Bachelor of Commerce. Degree from a technical college also acceptable.

Diploma in import/export management would be preferred

Prior Experience:
1-2 years. Preferably someone who has worked in Chemical Logistics &/or Chemical Import-Export.

Job Description:
Import

Export function
Shipping documents to be sent to clearing agent
Uploading of payment documents
Booking online airwaybill for courier
Coordination with foreign Suppliers / Team
Review paperwork and documents to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees

Logistics function

Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g. truck drivers) according to availabilities & requirements
Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve mutual satisfaction
Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
