Key Responsibilities:

Turbine Operation:
- Operate and control the turbine, steam valves, and auxiliary equipment using the Distributed Control System (DCS) to maintain optimal performance.
- Start up, shut down, and adjust turbine operations as needed to meet load demand and operational requirements.
Process Monitoring:
- Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow rates, and vibration levels to ensure safe and efficient turbine operation.
- Respond promptly to alarms, deviations, or abnormalities in process conditions and take appropriate corrective actions.
Equipment Inspection and Maintenance:
- Conduct routine visual inspections and checks of turbine components, including blades, bearings, seals, and lubrication systems.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of turbine equipment.
Safety and Environmental Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental incidents.
- Implement emergency procedures in the event of equipment failure, power outages, or other emergencies.
Recordkeeping and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and shift reports documenting turbine operations, equipment status, and incidents.
- Report any abnormalities, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisory personnel and take appropriate corrective actions.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate with other operators, control room personnel, and shift supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.
- Communicate operational status, shift handovers, and critical information to incoming shift personnel.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in power plant operations is preferred.
- Previous experience as a turbine operator or control room operator in a thermal power plant or similar industrial facility.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting turbine equipment and associated systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Strong understanding of power plant processes, thermodynamics, and steam cycles.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problemsolving skills.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a control room and around turbine equipment in a thermal power plant environment.
- May be exposed to noise, heat, dust, and other hazards typical of industrial settings.
- Rotating shifts may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to maintain continuous plant operations.
Job Types:

₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
