Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:

1.


Teaching:


  • Design and deliver courses in statistics for undergraduate and/or graduate students in the IT field.
  • Develop course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
  • Foster an engaging and interactive learning environment.
2.


Curriculum Development:


  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the statistics curriculum in alignment with industry trends and advancements.
3.


Research:


  • Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners on research projects.
4.


Student Support:


  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
  • Support student research projects and encourage a culture of inquiry.
5.


Professional Development:


  • Stay current with advancements in statistics, data analysis, and IT through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Participate in relevant conferences, workshops, and seminars.
6.


Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with other faculty members and departments to enhance interdisciplinary initiatives.
  • Engage with industry partners to facilitate internships, guest lectures, and collaborative projects.

Qualifications:


  • A Ph.
D. in Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field.

  • Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct highquality research.
  • Proficiency in relevant statistical software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SAS).

Salary:
Up to ₹15,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Master's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
  • Making lesson Plans: 1 year (preferred)
