    Description

    RFP Strategy Manager

    Role:

    This position will be the RFP Strategy for all iMerit Technology pursuits. This position will develop and coordinate proposals and qualification packages for multiple opportunities, edit technical sections, provide creative layouts, and organize substantial amounts of information for the pursuit team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual, with a background in marketing, specifically within the technology/AI industry —a team player who can lead pursuits, communicate effectively, manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.

    This is an individual contributor role that will report directly to the Senior Director of Operations and will partner closely with the Deal Desk Director.

    Core Responsibilities:

    Manage the end-to-end proposal/interview process from initial planning through delivery for all aspects related to the proposal process, including proposal storyboarding, outline, schedules, and workflow.

    Develop proposal messaging, write original content, and collaborate with the marketing manager to follow brand guidelines, including layout and other graphic elements.

    Work with technical staff to develop strategic win themes.

    Work with technical staff to develop consistent content to carry over from statements of qualifications, proposals, and interview presentations.

    Develop and manage proposal schedules and confirm compliance.

    Leading ALL research and own process to identify RFPs and proposals for our company to participate in and will lead all efforts related

    Will support the management of our contract management process and systems along with the Deal Desk Team.

    Core Expectations

    Minimum of 5 Year's experience running/supporting efforts across a Deal Desk/Sales Operations Team.

    Previous experience in proposal preparation or large-document management.

    Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years in proposal writing demonstrating the following experience and abilities:

    o Leading, guiding and collaborating across departments to develop proposals.

    o Demonstrated ability to read, analyze and understand a variety of RFQ, RFPs, and RFIs.

    o Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written/editing skills.

    o Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign)

    o Proficient user of Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    Experience working with multinational corporations and across global time zones

    Demonstrated ability to work independently to define, schedule, and manage the proposal preparation process, including the ability to understand and analyze RFQ/RFP requirements.

    Must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills: ability to meet deadlines by prioritizing and managing simultaneous projects with competing demands.

    Extremely proactive to continuously coordinate, update, and mechanize proposal content to reflect ongoing product enhancements while working closely with multiple internal departments (Sales, Legal, Marketing, Delivery, Engineering, InfoSecurity and others)

    Working Approach

    This role will be based in Kolkata, India and will work in Office Monday - Fridays and alternating Saturdays will work from home (on some occasion will work in office)

    Travel approximately 10-20% annually

    Multi-Timezone Hours (some early mornings, some late evenings) to connect with global teams and departments

    Minimum Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales operations or communications or a related field required.

    5 years of relevant proposal experience and preparation

    Preferred Requirements

    MBA Preferred

    Tech/AI Services industry experience preferred.

    Strong Project management, collaboration, and team-building skills.

    Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office.

    Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal within a significant amount of ambiguity.

    Ability to understand and correctly follow a variety of instructions.
