The Product Manager will have an opportunity to join a high performing team responsible for building next-generation electronic deal, order management, new issue analytics for syndicate banks.

You will be exposed to multiple S&P teams and programs looking to integrate with the solution and influence requirements.

You will build expertise on S&P's Global Market Groups technology stack and the nuances of cross-asset primary market / new issuance workflow.

We look for an entrepreneurial spirit, a close attention to detail, and a natural comfort turning complexity into order. You will lead a scrum team as a Product Owner. Your organization and project management skills will be of immediate and ongoing value to the team.

S&P's Global Markets Group (GMG) provides market intelligence, data and technology solutions to all participants in the Global Markets. The role will report to Director of Product Management.

What you'll do:

Develop a deep understanding of our industry and clients
Serve as the Product Owner to run agile sprints; adhering to definitions of Ready and Done and assuring quality
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to refine requirements
Execute on strategic projects and stakeholder expectations around deliverables
Provide internal demos and training sessions as you become a SME for the product
Provide occasional client service and end users with product assistance and troubleshooting
Build deep partnership with Test team members to assure high quality
Participate in cross-program collaboration on new initiatives
Create and maintain product documentation - release notes, training materials, etc.

What we look for:

5+ years of Product Manager, Product Owner or Business Analyst experience
Familiarity with agile product development lifecycle
Experience with detailed requirements gathering and writing user stories in complex domains.
Finance, capital markets, electronic trading, investing interest/experience a plus
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with developers and project stakeholders.
Individuals who are self-motivated, take initiative, and welcome the challenge of problem solving
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task projects of short, medium, and long-term time ranges
Flexibility to work both independently and as part of a team.
Collaborate and work well within multiple organizational and functional departments.
