Desired Qualifications for Junior QA Engineer

Location

  • Bangalore
  • Bachelor/Masters Degree in any computer systems(B.E/B.Tech or B.C.A/M.C.A)
  • Well-versed in Black box testing techniques
  • Experience in the Agile Process
  • Experience in the Defect Tracking tool(JIRA)
  • Knowledge of API/Database/Automation testing would be an added advantage
Roles and Responsibilities for junior QA engineer


  • Understanding requirement specifications and technical design documents.
  • Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases(Positive and negative) aligning with requirements
  • Executing test cases, document test results and report defects
  • Preparing test summary and defect summary reports
  • Participating in defect triage and Scrum meetings
  • Communicating test status to the QA Lead/Manager to promote effective critical path decisions for the release.
  • Communicating with cross teams to resolve queries related to bugs/requirements.

Job Types:

Salary:
₹350, ₹800,000.00 per year
