Position:
QA (Manual Tester)

Experience Level: 2-3 years

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Perform functional, regression, and system testing to identify defects and ensure the quality of the software.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand project requirements and user workflows.
Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input on potential quality issues and testability.
Execute manual tests according to test plans and test cases, documenting and reporting defects accurately.
Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and usability issues.
Verify and validate bug fixes and track the status of reported defects.
Ensure test coverage is sufficient for all functional requirements.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to troubleshoot issues and provide suggestions for resolution.
Report test results and provide comprehensive test reports to stakeholders, including defect reports, test coverage, and test execution summaries.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
23 years of experience working as a QA (Manual Tester) in a software development environment.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Experience in functional, regression, and system testing.
Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify and document software defects effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality software products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, is a plus.
ISTQB or other relevant software testing certifications are a plus.
