A Professional Development Trainer (PDP Trainer) is responsible for delivering training and development programs to individuals or groups within an organization.


The job description typically includes the following duties:

  • Designing and developing training programs that meet the needs of the organization.
  • Delivering training programs on various topics, such as leadership development, communication skills, time management, and customer service.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of training programs and making modifications as necessary.
  • Maintaining knowledge of current industry trends and incorporating new ideas into training programs.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their training needs.
  • Evaluating and reporting on the results of training programs to stakeholders.


A bachelor's degree in education, business administration, or a related field is often required, along with relevant certifications in training and development.
