Job Overview

This role requires a talented Design Engineer with expertise in Solid Edge. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying 2D and 3D CAD models, preparing technical drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative designs. This is a mid-level position with a requirement of 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is based in Satara, Maharashtra, India and is a full-time role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience of 4 to 6 years as a Design Engineer, preferably with expertise in Solid Edge.
• Strong proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD modeling using Solid Edge software.
• Good knowledge of GD&T and engineering standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.
• Experience in product development and design optimization is desirable.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop 2D and 3D CAD models using Solid Edge software.
• Create detailed technical drawings based on design specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and Manufacturing teams, to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to design improvements.
• Perform design analysis and validation to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Identify and resolve design issues or manufacturing challenges to optimize product performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in CAD technologies.
• Support the implementation of new design processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
