    Description

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical solutions to business challenges through data reporting for different business units. By analyzing and documenting requirements, you will give guidance to the team on implementing data strategies effectively. Your role involves determining project or process requirements and communicating them clearly to stakeholders.

    JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Understand, standardize, and streamline data reporting processes across various relational databases.
    • Analyze issues and requirements to ensure accurate and timely information delivery.
    • Utilize SQL procedures to extract key insights from large datasets following complex algorithms.
    • Collaborate with the business to identify reporting needs, define metrics and formats, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure error-free, on-time delivery.
    • Explore automation opportunities for routine reports, customized by region, user type, and scope, leveraging expertise in programming languages and BI tools such as Python, Visual Basic, and Microstrategy.

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology.
    • + Years of experience with Business Intelligence Tools, Data Warehousing, SQL, and MIS reporting.
    • Prior experience in mortgage analytics is a plus.

    Required Skills

    • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in writing PL/SQL procedures.
    • Understanding of Algorithms and ability to create clear, valid code.
    • Familiarity with data technologies, large relational databases, and data management.
    • Knowledge of Visual Basic, Python scripting is advantageous.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
