Job Title: Senior Manager/Lead Business Intelligence

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager/Lead Business Intelligence to drive end-to-end ownership of our BI initiatives for Leading poker platform. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in BI, analytics, and project management, along with the ability to navigate complex data sources, streamline processes, and ensure the timely and quality delivery of BI solutions.

Responsibilities:

End-to-End Ownership:

Take complete ownership of BI projects, addressing challenges related to stakeholder requirement understanding, iteration cycles, and driving optimal utilisation of delivered dashboards and reports.

Project Management:

Develop and execute project plans that align with our current process, working closely with Stakeholders, Business analytics, Data Engineering, and other teams to meet specific requirements and timelines.
Address challenges related to data consistency, sanity checks, and report generation from various data-sources.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of BI professionals, focusing on skill development and aligning their efforts with the overall BI process.
Bridge the gap between the Analytics and Data Engineering teams to enhance collaboration and drive efficient ETL/ELT processes.

Hands-On BI Expertise:

Leverage hands-on BI experience to contribute to the development and maintenance of BI solutions, addressing gaps related to stakeholder understanding and delivering actionable insights.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, User Experience, and Operations teams to understand BI requirements, ensuring proactive communication, and driving stakeholder sign-offs.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and enforce quality assurance processes tailored to address challenges in data governance and data quality management, ensuring data consistency and reliability.

Performance Monitoring:

Establish and track key business & functional KPIs, establishing benchmarks, deducting anomalies, performing RCA in alignment with KPI owners and documenting actionables/learnings.

Problem Resolution:

Proactively address issues related to stakeholder requirement understanding, iteration cycles, and usage challenges of delivered BI solutions.
Conduct root cause analysis for deviations from project plans.

Vendor Management:

Collaborate with external BI vendors as needed, ensuring seamless integration, and deriving business value from the same.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics.
Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end BI projects in the real-money gaming industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, specifically in addressing challenges related to stakeholder communication.
In-depth knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Apache Superset, and AWS QuickSight, as well as expertise in data sources like AWS Athena, Google Bigquery, Clevertap, and Customer Support platforms.
