Principal UX Designer/Architect

Job Location: Bangalore, Mysore, Coimbatore

Full time

Overview

Designs experiences for acquisition, care or product across all platforms using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools. Designs, prototypes and develops user interface features, site animation, and special effects elements to both communicate and move a user efficiently and effortlessly through tasks and experiences. Analyzes strategy and contributes to the design groups efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization's digital offerings.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

advanced knowledge of UX design principles.
independently manage multiple large-scale projects involving the management of both internal and external talent.
for applying those levels of knowledge and professional experience to the development of Aezion design processes, roles and resources.
and translating complex business and software development workflows into easy-to-use experiences for a technical audience
with enterprise partners to create new interface and interactions patterns.
consistent visual conventions across the application
closely with product and customer success teams to gather and incorporate user feedback and feature requests into the interface.
and establishing design needs, requirements, and acceptance criteria

Collaboration & Connection

with software architects and engineers, product managers, and research teams to uncover customer and business needs - then translating them into intuitive and engaging digital experiences.
in translating complex ideas into understandable concepts that evolve and enhance the product interface.
for the customer through human centered design methodologies, including: discovery, ideation, sketch sessions, and user testing.
design led workshops to engage and build alignment across different partners and teams.
prioritization of design centered product enhancements grounded in research and analysis.
with design community peers by learning, sharing, and teaching
in hiring by reviewing resumes, conducting interviews and attending consensus.

Discovery & Delivery

early product definition by working with partners to facilitate discovery sessions that uncover customer pain points and opportunities.
familiarity with design tools to deliver concepts and enable successful collaboration across teams.
to style guides, iconography, and infographics that can be leveraged by teams.
in end-to-end product design by:
with researchers to understand customer needs and interpreting information into visual forms that are impactful and intuitive.
problems, determining insights, and defining visual designs to serve customer needs.
sketching, and delivering low to high fidelity prototypes.
within existing - and creating new - standards to contribute to our internal design system, best practices, and guidelines.
and presenting visual concepts to various stakeholders.
high fidelity design assets for acceptance, development, and delivery to market in partnership with technology colleagues

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Human Computer Interaction, Interactive Media, or Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
designing software or mobile applications, enterprise applications a bonus.
creating responsive web layouts.
designing for cross channel experiences.
creating components and interactive prototypes in Figma/Adobe XD.
working with a variety of business partners and delivering outcomes.
with design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch and/or Figma.
with working in an established design system.
with the software development lifecycle and writing code.
with product development from inception to release.

Experience

Senior-level, real- world experience in design (8-10 years) with working knowledge of managing projects independently.
