The opportunity

Technical Lead in IT Advisory Services team to work on various Microsoft or Java Technology based projects for our customers across the globe on IoT (Internet of Things) space. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of our service offering.
You should also have experience in Designing, configuration and developing Solutions/ Platforms in an Edge/Cloud environment including specific products and tools. You should be well versed with Agile and DevOps concepts Developing monitoring architecture and implementing monitoring agents, dashboards, escalations, and alerts.
You will be responsible to develop relationships across the business to understand data requirements, applies deep technical knowledge of data management to solve business problems in areas where solutions may not currently exist, necessitating new solutions / ways of working / technologies and proactively articulating these to the business

Your key responsibilities

Part of the Digital team, you will lead IoT initiatives across global businesses of Smart Manufacturing (IIoT) as well as Connected Products (CIoT)
The IIoT track will include working with manufacturing & operations stakeholders to implement & drive Industry 4.0 initiatives.
The CIoT track will include working with R&D and Marketing teams to conceptualize, design & implement IoTbased connected products.
Ultimately, help the delivery teams on how to leverage IoT & Analytics to derive competitive advantage for the business and to create best in class solutions.

Skills and attributes for success

Detail or working knowledge of various Siemens and Rockwell systems.
Develop realtime control system software for automated assembly systems, including the programming of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, Servo Controllers, Robots and Vision Systems.
Design and development of new control systems; testing, maintaining, and modifying existing systems.
Develop human machine interfaces (HMI) using commercially available industrial products, custom GUIs written in Visual Basic or Visual C++.
Work with mechanical and electrical designers to ensure the control system will meet performance, reliability, and functionality requirements.
Design PLC programs specific to customer and project requirements based on standard programming methods.
Must have experience in delivering and implementing IoT Solutions from concept to launch of connected products such as Connected Forklifts, Smart Appliances etc.
Work closely with product engineering, product managers, marketing, and technology teams to develop a IoT SAAS/ PAAS Solution strategy & roadmap
Identify new features/enhancements that can help customers, service teams & R&D teams to enhance the smart product value proposition.
Own and maintain the entire IoT solution architecture starting at the individual device through connectivity, data collection and storage, cloud, middleware, and security.

To qualify for the role, you must have

BE/BTech/MTech with a sound industry experience of 8 to 12 Years
Minimum of two years of work experience in IoT client projects using a cloud platform.
Excellent communication skills with consulting experience preferred

Ideally, you'll also have

Experience in domains like Manufacturing, P&U, Telecommunications, Supply Chain, Automotive
Foster teamwork and lead by example
Participate in the organizationwide people initiatives
Training and mentoring of project resources
Experience on Azure IoT Edge, DPS, Kepware, Rockwell, AWS IoTCore, Greengrass, Device management

What we look for

Working experience of AMQP MQTT, CoAP, Kafka, Apache Spark.
Working experience on build tool like Maven or Ant scripts, packaging & deployment
Version control software exposure Azure DevOps, Jira, Git, SVN
Understand how to deliver a great and intuitive end user experience.
Willing to understand workflows of various industries such as Manufacturing, Automotive and Automation and propose suitable solutions & study IoT applicability in these domains.
Should be well versed with design and should have exposures to design patterns
Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
Excellent business communication skills & leadership skills
Lead the team to come up with High level solution design in response to RFPs and be an expert in sizing the project and estimating the effort
