    Job Description :

    Technical :

    • Adequate experience in PostgreSQL Databases with an excellent knowledge of Postgres concepts in release 13.x, 14.x, 15.x.
    • Flexible in managing PostgreSQL Databases on both community edition and on Azure cloud.
    • Must have a deeper understanding of the PostgreSQL architecture and internals.
    • Experience in installation, configuration, and maintain PostgreSQL Server databases.
    • Experience with design, implement, and manage database schemas, tables, indexes, and views.
    • Expertise in User access management.
    • Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and recovery procedures and equipped to design and implement disaster recovery.
    • Fixing Database corruption issues & Performance Tuning.
    • Monitor and resolve performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations for efficient query execution.
    • Experience in synchronizing and migrating data and database objects from Oracle to Cosmos PostgresSQL in Azure.
    • Knowledge on upgrading and migrating PostgreSQL databases to Cloud and between Cloud platforms.
    • Understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure cosmos databases.

    Desirable :

    • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
    • Perform under limited supervision and mentor team in case of any need.
    • Microsoft Azure cloud certified.
    • Addon advantage if there is handson experience on all the above areas in Oracle and MS SQL
