Description

This role profile will carry out the frontline work of editing & creating the assets which will then be merchandised on a backend tool to be published on the website of a UK's High Street Retailer.

Individuals will carry out variety of tasks as per instructions using the Adobe Photoshop.

Periodically the role will entail working on special projects and support to the ongoing seasonal launches which require update to the online assets to maintain website standards.

Executive - Web Designing

Enhance images by correcting resolution and composition, cropping images and adjusting tone, color, saturation and brightness.
Adding or removing objects from an image or inserting text.
Have an eye for art and composition as they relate to what's typically desirable in a photographic image.
To present your designs and ideas when required to all levels up to and including managers & clients.
To constantly review competitor sites and make recommendations to maintain client's position as market leader, ensure client's online content continues to exceed customer expectations in terms of performance and presentation
The combination of an artistic eye and technical training in photograph editing is necessary
Performing system update tasks
Merchandise/Update images and code in Content Management System
Quality checks to be done alongside while merchandising to avoid feedback & rework on briefs
Work through images Downloaded / Received & PDF images
Complete work as per the quoted timescales
Comprehend and action as per instructions received
Update briefing portal on time
Issues to be flagged on the spot
Individuals need to be motivated, competent in basic computer and specifically Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Microsoft Excel and Web based programmes. They need to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and have good written English skills. Working in an everchanging environment, they must be adaptable with work tasks and have very good organisational skills; working from high level instructions and proactively is a must. Individuals need to be performance focused and display a positive and flexible attitude.
