DESCRIPTION

  • Role Description
  • The Data Security and Infrastructure Risk (DSIR) Team sits within the Wealth Management (WM) Risk organization and strives to find the right balance between risk management and business enablement. The team works to protect all sensitive client data from any type of theft, loss, or compromise. They also oversee the resilience of WM's critical infrastructure and the continuity of core business processes at times of turbulence. Finally, DSIR manages the external client fraud risk program, which institutes technical and business controls to help prevent unauthorized access to or misuse of client funds.
  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve in the capacity of a BUISO, performing both critical data security operational work and providing appropriate guidance and best practices upon request
  • Coordinate, review, and action access/information security exception requests with business management and local risk teams to ensure alignment and risk awareness
  • Maintain an accurate and detailed record of team procedures and security request tracking
  • Create and analyze ad hoc and regular reporting for management and in support of various governance committee meetings
  • Engage with WM Business partners to help create innovative technology and process solutions, balancing risk management, and business enablement
  • Identify, raise, and discuss information security requirements and resolve any issues in partnership with the Firm's technology and security organizations
  • Help the team deliver on the framework and strategy for end user security controls regarding access and exception management
  • Provide oversight around the Firm's Simulated Phishing Program for repeat offenders and recommend additional training programs, where applicable

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of relevant risk management (preferably vendor risk management) experience
  • Strong writing skills with an ability to summarize complex problems succinctly
  • Intrinsic curiosity and an eagerness to learn new technologies and skills
  • Understanding of information security, computer systems, network technologies, mobile devices, and peripherals (e.g., monitors, keyboards, printers, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze a high volume of data and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to swiftly transition between projects and tasks
  • Ability to work independently and possess a strong sense of accountability/ownership
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical, quantitative, and investigative problemsolving abilities
  • Must be resultsoriented and have a proactive approach to solving issues
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry; preferably in wealth management, finance, operations, or technology
Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry; preferably in wealth management, finance, operations, or technology
  • Experience with content and project management tools, including Twiki, SharePoint, Jive, and JIRA
  • Experience working in ServiceNow or any other major ticketing system
  • Familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, Dataiku)
