US Payroll Specialist


ADP is Payroll Specialist (US Focus), as part of the Global Payroll Operations team supporting the internal ADP business and associates located in the Unites States.

The Payroll Specialist will perform tasks in support of delivery of best in class timely and accurate payroll results.

In addition, the Payroll Specialist will work with required end-to-end stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of work product deliverables, while executing a highly regulatory compliance payroll process in addition to delivering exceptional service delivery.

Lastly, the Payroll Specialist will raise their hand to identified risks and continually look for process improvement opportunities.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process payroll, end to end from input to final reporting while meeting all predefined SLAs.
  • Coordinate with key processing stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of payroll results
  • Resolve issues pertaining to the payroll and provide absolute solutions for various queries as required.
  • Diligently follow documented Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Continually monitor regulatory compliance notification and proactively validate that payroll.
  • Daily, alert management of any known or potential risk issues.
  • Proactively forward any innovation and process improvement opportunities.
  • Assist Implementation team in testing UAT scripts in pre live stage as applicable.
  • Escalations to immediate supervisor at appropriate times and keep them updated on operational aspects.
  • Share best practices among the team.
Skill and Competency Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge on the legislation
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking ability. Good at number crunching
  • Client focus and Good Team player
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills required
  • Good analytical & decisionmaking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Willingness to work on different time zones

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • 3 to 7 years of payroll processing knowledge and experience supporting US payroll processing.
Education

  • Com/M.Com/MBA with good academic record
