The mission of the Assistant Controller is to provide support to the Plant Controller with the margin analysis and follow up of different indicators (purchasing savings, plant performance, commercial task,) to achieve plant financial goals.

Assistant Controller deals with reporting submission (HFM close, forecast, budget) and fulfill several reports (Quarterly reports ) and must ensure the compliance with internal control and SOX requirements.


Main Missions:


  • Report the close and forecast, VW, PPR, PSR complying with the divisional.
  • Comply with the different monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Ensure that records are maintained in accordance with Tunisian and US GAAP.
  • Analyze the weekly sales (weekly margin analysis) and ensure through a sales control the pending amount debited by the customers.
  • Track headcount and direct and indirect cost control.
  • Ensure Weekly R&O assessment for all the items impacting the results.
  • Follow up the plant performance tasks in the OIP (online improvement plan).
  • Close binder integrity.
  • Prepare Month end accounts reconciliation.
  • Support SOX Controls & testing.

To be successful for this role:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Previous Experience in automotive Industry, preferably in a similar position
  • SAP knowledge or similar ERP system
  • Good knowledge of in Office tools (Excel) and HFM (reporting system)
  • Good analytical vision.

Language Skills:


  • Good communication skills in both French and English
