Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain logical and physical data models.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and data engineers to gather data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
  • Handson experience in Azure Synapse or in Azure Databricks.
  • Implement data governance practices to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and compliance with data policies and regulations.
  • Create data dictionaries and metadata to provide clear insights into data structures and meanings.
  • Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of the organization's data architecture strategy and data management roadmap.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure data models align with business objectives and support datadriven decisionmaking.
  • Conduct data validation and verification to ensure data accuracy and completeness in data models.
  • Work with database administrators and developers to optimize data model performance and efficiency.
  • Provide documentation and training on data modelling best practices and data management standards.
