    Description

    Reporting Engineer

    Job Description :

    The ideal candidate must possess; the ability to work in a team environment, demonstrate strong reporting capabilities and be able to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

    The willingness to learn and constantly be learning new technologies while working in a fast-changing environment is a must and having excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) is mandatory.

    Responsibilities :

    - Create weekly / monthly reports measuring various SLAs and KPIs for tracking health of program(s).

    - Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

    - Must have experience extracting data from ITSM tools like SNOW, Remedy etc.

    - Must have experience in exporting data from SNOW and other related tools and creating customized reports.

    - Respond to ad hoc inquiries from internal and external stakeholders and help with extracting data to create reports in PPT, Excel and other related templates.

    - Design, maintain and enhance various types of dashboards.

    - Creating Managed Services metrics / reports / dashboards using Advanced Excel / Power BI / Tableau

    - Complete all internal and client-driven reporting/analytic requests

    - Provide trends in data that could help improve business procedures and practices.

    - Provide feedback on technology enhancements that could improve analytic tracking.

    - Ensure that all data is operationally accurate and appropriate for client distribution.

    - Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports

    - Follow proper escalation processes to ensure proper customer service.

    - Suggest and make changes in existing processes and metrics measures to increase efficiency & effectiveness.

    - Automate & simplify processes for reporting, measuring, and tracking metrics.

    - Engage with stakeholders to increase data-driven decision-making.

    - Create informative & actionable reports which highlight relevant business process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

    - Generating Report using Power BI & Tableau.

    Good experience on creating Power BI Dashboards.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

    - Due-Diligence: Participate in due-diligence and transition analysis activities to validate solutions and make changes as required.

    - Tracking leads and reporting.

    Skill :

    Good understanding of Pre-sales/Solutions process and activities with hands-on experience good bid/project management skills and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.

    - Communication & interpersonal skills

    Develop and deliver technical presentations with customers and tailor content to the audience as appropriate.

    - Display sustained energy and determination to meet challenging deliverables within stringent timelines ability to work independently with diverse & global teams and interact confidently with Leadership Interpersonal sensitivity.

    Education And Experience :

    - Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business, Analytics, Reports, or related discipline

    - 5 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data, and at least 3 years of experience leading a team as a Data Analysis, Advanced MS Excel, and PowerPoint.

    - Should have min 3 years experience working as a Reporting Analyst / team member in a IT Infra project / Managed Services team

    - Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on-premises and cloud-based data sources.

    - Works well under pressure and is able to accomplish multiple tasks, with conflicting priorities and timelines.

    - Excellent oral and written communication skills, proven analytical skills, strong problem-solving skills, and highly developed interpersonal skills.

    - Should have hands on experience in POWER BI & Tableau.

    Certifications :

    Current and valid industry certifications in one or more of the following preferred :

    - ITIL

    - Reporting Data Tool- Service Now/Manage Engine/BMC

    - Certification in Power BI will be a Plus
