R & D Chemist

JOB PROFILE:
Lead key projects with R&D to support business goals.

• Develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing products and study the potential of new products.
• Responsible for research, planning, and implementing new ideas into R&D labs under the guidance of R & D Head for the day by day work
• Performing multistep organic synthesis and analysis of small molecules
• Purifying compounds by preparative Thin Layer Chromatography and flash column chromatography
• Executing product manufacturing according to established procedures, record the data, interpret results and validate the quality of data
• Utilizing traditional synthetic chemical techniques, execute routine chemical procedures involving organic chemistry, HPLC, TLC and MS analysis of chemical compounds
• Working safely and in compliance with all applicable federal and local regulations
• Supporting general lab functions, maintenance of equipment, product quality, packaging, ontime delivery of products, ensure cleanliness of workplace and good general laboratory techniques
• Understand customer expectations on tobe manufactured products.
• Redesigning existing products to enhance functionality or reduce costs.

Key are of contribution:

The chemists / Scientists should be accountable / answerable for samples with predetermined specifications

Lab development report (LDR), Process development Report(PDR) and Technology Transfer for new project from R&D to commercial prospects

Reports for process change/improvements for plant level implementation. Investigation Report CAPA


Educational Qualifications
M.Sc. in Organic chemistry

Experience - 1 to 2 years
