Description

Ensure that the AnantU hostel policy and its norms are being followed at the student housing (hostel) by all stakeholders

Be the primary point of contact for all student concerns, grievances, suggestions and complaints regarding the hostel
Ensure a safe, enriching and vibrant environment
Ensure that no ragging takes place in the hostel and maintain a ragging free residence life at the hostel
Liaise with the Administration and Student Services departments for the day to day hostel affairs
Ensure hygiene, sanitation maintenance and proper utilization of the hostel property and facilities aligning to Covid19 protocols
Supervise for the smooth running of the facilities provided and to plan for upgradation and maintenance of these facilities and periodically verify the furniture and fittings of the residence with the assistance of the team operations and take action for their repairs/replacement.
Daily food and mess management
Handle mental/ physical health and medical emergency issues of the students
Go beyond the call of duty and extend work hours and when required and provide complete emergency cover at the hostel
Maintain daily attendance, registers, databases, checkin and checkout processes of students
Handle loss and found cases in coordination with IT team
Ensure congenial resolution of conflicts within students if any arise
Maintain and update inventory stock, registers, room keys, first aid kits and other similar things
Assist in conducting residence life events at the hostel and supervising proper conduct by students during events
Follow protocols and handle sick cases, COVID 19 cases at the hostel as required
Conduct biweekly hostel townhalls, monthly health check up camps, fire safety training, first aid training, POSH and anti

- ragging training etc
