Job Purpose:

They are extremely critical as hey directly impact in the following ways

Control the risk appetite of the organisation.
Augment controlled growth of the business ( a slight error can lead to huge loss of business)
Ensure regulatory controls.
Bring in huge improvement in accuracy, processing efficiency, improve customer service delivery etc.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

The scope of the Job Involves
Detailed understanding of the various product dynamics and their business requirements.

Good understanding of all the product policies and their processes and the overall requirements for their configuration.

Strong knowledge of skill sets to write and coding complex queries, functions and procedures for various automated functionalities like system eligibilities, deviations, system validations for policies, processes, etc

Engage with BTG and IT to resolve to ensure all the queries are validated for system efficiency.

Maintaining system hygiene by ensuring maximum optimisation of queries. Ability to reduce the cost of the queries by using the correct tables / joins etc.

Suggesting ways and means to improve the current processes in the system by exploring new functionalities

Generating retro information to assess the correctness of the rules and the impact of the changes post go Live

Raise with IT and BTG for new requirements which can bring in better system efficiency

Deployment of scorecards in LOS which cannot be written in BRE

Job skill sets required
Should have a good understanding on the business process in credit decisioning in the retail Asset space

Should have a good skill set in terms writing queries, functions, stored procedures, packages etc, I Oracle / SQL

Should have the skill set in writing the queries in the most optimised manner, should be able to trouble shoot.

Deep understanding on system functionalities on configuration of workflows.

Should have good logical acumen to understand evaluate the correct approach for a given requirements

Prefer to have 2-3 working years of the experience with smart and positive attitude to find solutions.

Current scope of business rules
Over 7000+ rules are currently coded in LOS.

Over 5000+ rules are coded in LS. - Over 2000 new rules written in LOS every year.

Over 1500 new rules written in LOS every year.

Over 20-30 workflows are re configured every year.
