SAT Faculty


Position Overview:


Responsibilities:


1.


Curriculum Development:


  • Design and develop a comprehensive curriculum that covers all sections of the SAT, including Critical Reading, Writing and Language, and Math.
  • Create instructional materials, lesson plans, and practice exams that align with the current SAT format and content.

2.


Classroom Instruction:


  • Deliver engaging and interactive classroom lessons to small groups of students, focusing on effective strategies for tackling various question types and content areas.
  • Utilize various teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, group activities, and multimedia resources, to cater to diverse learning styles.

3.


Test-Taking Strategies:


  • Provide expert guidance on time management, question prioritization, elimination techniques, and other effective strategies for maximizing scores.
  • Offer insights into common pitfalls, test anxiety management, and confidencebuilding techniques to boost student performance.

4.


Individualized Support:


  • Conduct oneonone sessions with students to address their unique learning needs and challenges.
  • Offer personalized feedback on practice exams and assignments, identifying areas of improvement and providing actionable recommendations.

Progress Monitoring:


  • Regularly assess student performance through quizzes, mock exams, and other evaluation methods to track their progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Analyze test results to identify trends and adjust instructional approaches for continuous improvement.

6.


Student Engagement and Motivation:


  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to students, helping them set goals and develop effective study habits.

7.


Professional Development:


  • Stay updated on changes to the SAT exam, testing trends, and educational best practices to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and effective.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and share insights with colleagues.

8.


Communication:


  • Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to address concerns, provide progress updates, and offer support.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Mathematics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the SAT exam format, content, and scoring criteria.
  • Proven experience in teaching and/or tutoring high school students, preferably in SAT preparation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for education and a passion for helping students succeed.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Organizational skills to manage curriculum development, student assessments, and progress tracking.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and resources for enhancing instruction.

Salary:
₹35, ₹50,000.00 per month
