    About the role :


    As part of Hotels Revenue team, you will be a part of whip smart team responsible for handling Revenue, driving growth and increasing profitability.

    The ideal candidate for the role is an independent self-starter, quick-witted, entrepreneurial, and intellectually curious individual.

    This person must excel at cross functional collaboration, combine creativity with organizational skills and manage deliverables to tight deadlines and the ability to deliver high-quality work under time constraints.


    About the function :


    This role will be part of the domestic hotels category team, wherein the incumbent will lead the growth initiatives and analytics charter for the designated category.

    He / She will be a techno-functional expert and will act as the POC for various strategic projects. The role will involve interactions with senior stakeholders across multiple teams including supply, revenue, marketing, product, and finance.


    What you'll be doing :

    P&L Management :

    • Managing the business and ensuring achievement of P&L metrics daily.
    • Tracking performance against targets and keep a tight control on business KPI numbers
    • Deep dive into competitor pricing data and use signals to improve category pricing.
    • Deep dive onto data signals/traffic data to derive insights and drive actionable.
    • Understanding trends/customer behavior and working with marketing, supply, and product to maximize conversion basis those trends.
    • Define & drive the short term and longterm growth agenda of the business while influencing various cross functional teams
    • Manage the business P&L and devise strategies to achieve revenue goals

    Data Analytics :

    • Analyze data and derive meaningful trends.
    • Convert insights into neatly designed business experiments.
    • Conduct data modeling to build multiple business scenarios.
    • The incumbent will be responsible for reporting as well.
    • Build interactive automated reports from time to time as per the business requirement.
    • Strategic Planning: Proactively generate ideas to grow the business. Lay out the project plan, execute it endtoend in collaboration with other teams like Product/Tech/Supply/Marketing, etc. Closely track impact using data monitoring.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with Category, Product, Tech, Supply, Marketing, and Finance teams to execute projects. Collaborate and work under stringent timelines. Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • MBA from a reputed institute with 24 years of experience in revenue/ category role for a consumer facing, technology enabled business/product in ecommerce industry.
    • Expertise in MS Excel & MS Powerpoint and understanding of SQL and Python is mandatory.
